Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized university 

Age Limit

• Project Engineer: 50 years
• Deputy Director: 40 years
• Assistant executive engineer: 35 years

Pay scale

• Project Engineer: Level-13 (7th CPC PB-4) Rs. 37400 - 67000
• Deputy Director:  Level-11 (7th CPC PB-4) Rs. 15600 - 39100
• Assistant executive engineer:  Level-10 (7th CPC PB-4) Rs. 15600 - 66000
