Education Qualification

Senior. Medical Specialists

For general Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine Minimum Qualification is MBBS from recognised Institute/ College approved by medical council of India with recognised Post Graduate Degree/ DNB with minimum 3 years post Qualification experience

For Other Specialists, In addition to the above, Post Graduate diploma is also considered as one of the minimum eligiile qualification

Medical Specialist

For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine minimum Qualification is MBBS from recognised Institute/ College approved by the Medical Council of India with recognised PG Degree/ DNB

For other specialist, in addition to the above, Post graduate Diploma is also considered as one of the minimum eligibile Qualification

SR. Medical Officer

MBBS from recognised institute / College approved by Medical Council of India

Age limit

Upper age limit for Unreserved candidates in case of

• Sr. Medical Specialists is 42 years
• Sr. Medical Officer/ Medical Specialist is 35 years for general/ UR

Pay scale

• Senior Medical Specialist: (E4) 70,000 - 2,00,000
• MedicalSpecialist: (E3) 60,000 - 1,80,000
• Sr. Medical Officer: (E3) 60,000 - 1,80,000
